Merry Christmas, dear godlings. ^_^
For anyone following it, the births themselves are to be taking place here. Although, for purposes of the holiday, presumably the children and mothers are all doing as well as can be expected.
Don't forget--Christmas is, for virtually everyone, the one day when they will be able to contact their loved ones on the outside. Use it wisely! (Those of you busy celebrating with your actual loved ones are welcome to backdate as needed.)
Also, on Christmas morning, in the parlor presents will be awaiting the godlings under (or next to, as the case may be) the tree! Everything will be tagged to say who it's for, but nothing to indicate who sent the gifts. Here is what everyone is getting:
Achilles: The breastplate made for him by Hephaestus.
Aphrodite: Katoptris, an enchanted looking glass that will allow whoever looks into it to catch glimpses of things to come.
Apollo: A golden bow and a quiver that never empties.
Ariadne: A skein of enchanted string.
Arthur: A chess set with his knights and followers as the White side, and Mordred and his supporters as the Black side.
Asclepius: Two vials of gorgon blood, very carefully labeled.
Astarte: A 3D printer that can render objects in any material she wishes.
Athena: Her aegis.
Baldr: A scrapbook containing all his divine memories.
Bastet: A set of diamond-tipped finger claws.
Bres: A small vial of clear liquid bearing a prescription label made out for a Jeffrey Maddox.
Dionysus: His thyrsus.
Erato: A golden lyre carved with roses entwined around it.
Esther: 8 numbered boxes, each containing a different luxury item (jewelry, shoes, perfumes, clothes, etc.)--just because Hanukkah is over, doesn't mean she has to be left out!
Frigg: The written record of all the oaths sworn to never harm Baldr, bound in leather and inscribed in gold leaf.
Goliath: A Kawasaki Ninja ZX-14R.
Hades: His helmet of invisibility.
Hel: A certificate showing a $13,000 donation to the Make-A-Wish Foundation made in her name.
Kali: Her enchanted leopard skin, rendering her invulnerable while wearing it.
Lilith: A wooden box containing soil from the Garden of Eden.
Mab: Her feather cloak.
Melpomene: The Club of Heracles.
Ogma: A thumbdrive containing an Encyclopedia of Absolutely Everything Ever.
Persephone: A packet of seeds that will grow magical flowers that can cure any ill (pretty much exactly like this).
Poseidon: A vial of water from Atlantis.
Seth: A fully functional mini-gun he can carry and use.
Sif: A high-capacity bread machine.
Sigyn: A Loki plushie.
Triton: His shell-trumpet.
Tyr: A scepter that can transform into any weapon needed.
And there are things for the kids too!
Cian Cleary: A kiddie laptop with lots of educational activities and resources, and a port that will fit his father's thumbdrive.
Julian Cyrus: A bow and arrow set that is a miniature copy of his father's.
Laurel Cyrus: A book of music for every song she can use to heal someone.
Meriset Fizzini: A book of brainteasers that endlessly rewrites itself as each one is solved.
Alexander Karalis: A rattle in the shape of a Greek sword.
Anthony Lovelace: A water table with a variety of toys and courses.
Ivy Lovelace: A set of paints and canvas.
Lillian Price: A tub of 5 pounds of clay.
Carl Shin: A jungle gym/play set.
And, any presents that the godlings intended to give to each other? Yes, they're here too. They can be found underneath the tree in the living room.
Any questions? Don't be shy! ^_^
