Greetings, my darlings! Your Plot Bunny Mod here. *taptapcough* Is this thing on?

Okay! All the key points for Event 1 have been hit except for the exit strategy. I would like to have the characters exited from the hotel by Wednesday night 11:59pm. That means the characters must come up with their representatives for each of the elements (hint: you only need one of each so four people) to try to get home. I figure this gives y'all plenty of time to wrap up whatever you have going, and gives Ren a chance to get back from her mini-hiatus.

Now this can happen a number of ways. A) A character can elect themselves to be the leader, organize the exit strategy and round up the little doggies. B) A character can be elected leader by the other characters and round up the little doggies. C) This can all happen on one big group post started by the leader. D) Nigel can just call everyone to the foyer to shove them out the door in which case I will start the post. E) Something I haven't thought of and you guys surprise me.

This is the time for input, folks! Let me hear it? Ideas? Preferences? Directions to the nearest hell?

Ok, so apparently IJ or Gmail has decided that I don't need to know when people reply to the original post. Splendid. *eyeroll/sigh* However, there are some characters still interacting with Nigel on that post, and haven't received their room numbers. Also, some interactions have begun as well. Also, also wik, I understand that not all of us can be glued to our machines like myself, and can only reply at certain times of the day.

In the spirit of giving all the players equal time and attention I am holding off on the next part of plot which will be the gathering where our godlings will discover what this is all about. Tomorrow night, Tuesday when I get home from work I will post the main log scene for the gathering. This will have given everyone ample time to wrap up whatever is dangling and we can move along.

If you haven't finished scenes that's fine. Keep on truckin'. If I am in that scene with you there is a very good chance that I will neglect that scene in lieu of moving the plot along. It wouldn't be on purpose, not being spiteful, just distracted.

Event 1

Greetings and salutations. Welcome to Event 1.

Beginning oh NOW the next time your character steps through a doorway he/she will find themselves walking through an automatic set of glass doors into the foyer of a 1940s style hotel. There will be someone there to meet them. The rest will be revealed in game play.

I will be setting up the intro post which will be a log style which will begin with the person meeting your character in the foyer. Please start a new thread (i.e. Leave a Comment) for your interaction with this person.

Time? Is nebulous. Such a fluid thing. The Egyptians saw time as a set of circles instead of linear. Crazy bastards. What does this mean? Don't worry about those pesky game days equaling three or seven real time days. For this event watches stop upon entry into the foyer. There are no clocks. There are windows but they cannot be seen through. Looking through them would be like looking into some sort of psychedelic oil/light show moving slowly through shades of red, black/grey and blue.

You cannot leave. The end. Walking through an exit brings you right back into the foyer where you will be met by your host. Trying to smash a window results in extremely flexible glass that returns to its rigid state when it isn't being abused. You get the idea. In other words, y'ain't goin' nowhere until I says so.

Calm down. No one's going to die. You can be injured, however. Keep that in mind. Any weapons that you walk in with will be missing as soon as you cross the threshold.
