Hey guys! Hope you've enjoyed your stay in Faerie!
We're bringing Event 11 to a soft close so that the godlings can return to their regularly-scheduled lives. However, if you still have unfinished business in Faerie, you are all welcome to complete/backdate those threads at your leisure! None of the logs are being closed. You can still play out the event logs as needed.
This also allows for our new characters to enter the game officially! Puck is now one of you, and he'll need some help getting adjusted into mortal life. Also, Phonos and Ares, you'll find your posting permissions available under "Asylum Invitations" on the left-hand sidebar.
As always, if you have any questions, just let us know. ^_^
And, last month you got to see a little snapshot of your Lead Mod. This month, it's Mod Paul's turn!

A Wild Mod Paul appears!
Name: Paul Ward (my full name is silly and dynastic; "Paul" is technically my middle name. I have also been nicknamed "Scruffy.")
Date of Birth: October 30, 1974. Somebody get me a cane to shake at those damn kids on my lawn!
Relationship Status: Married.
Kids/Pets: No kids. One inquisitive and personal-space-ignoring cat named Pixel.
Hometown: Raised in Rochester Hills, MI; currently residing in New Castle, DE.
Day Job: Inventory Analyst and Returns Coordinator, UPS Supply Chain Solutions, Healthcare Division. (Basically, I do a lot of behind-the-scenes logistical stuff on behalf of a medical supply company in the Philadelphia area.)
Dream Job: Something that will pay me well for sleeping late, slacking off, and making snarky comments about a wide range of things.
Mod Role: Admissions mod! I'm the one who reads your applications and sends you the notice when you've been accepted. I also take care of the activity checks each month.
Roleplaying Background: For tabletop RPGs, I played a few sessions in middle school and high school, but fell out of it when I went off to college. (Car Wars was my favorite, and it still holds a special place in my heart-- I still own my issues of Autoduel Quarterly.) It wasn't until grad school that I picked it up again; coincidentally enough, it was joining a Rifts campaign that led to me getting to know Kim, and the rest is history. Aside from Palladium, I've also played d20 stuff in both D&D and Star Wars.
As for electronic RPGs, I was way big into the Sierra ones in high school; Space Quest was my perennial favorite. But it wasn't until the late '90s when I first discovered the Final Fantasy series-- which led me to get a Playstation and started my love affair with that sweet, sweet JRPG crack.
Metempsychosis has been my first attempt at journal roleplaying.
Mythological Background: I'm a literature major, but I haven't had a great deal of formal training in mythology or folklore. However, studying urban legends is a bit of a hobby of mine; I'm fascinated with how stories get spread around and change in the telling from people to people.
Fun Facts:
-In addition to urban legends, I'm fascinated with old classroom social guidance films from the 50's and 60's.
-I know probably more than I should about military history. I blame an adolescence wasted on reading Tom Clancy novels.
-Strategy (both turn-based and RTS) is my favorite genre of video games.
-I've been told I can make really good curries.
-My hair used to be extremely long; it was down to the middle of my back at the very longest. I still miss it sometimes.
-I have a master's degree in 19th-century American literature, and I have a soft spot for Herman Melville.
Open To Additional Interview Questions: Of course! I'm always open to questions.
