So! Whatcha doin'?

Ladies and gentlemen, the event's been fun, and is nearly wrapped up in a neat little bow. For now. ^_^

As you know, characters will return from the hotel on the date of July 15. We will be resuming Real Time this upcoming Saturday, August 13th. So, our gloss will be in effect for the dates of July 16-August 12.

Here is where you can post the general goings-on of your characters (you are more than welcome to do plotting here and post backdated logs on the metem_log community, of course).

Don't worry if you don't get everything worked out prior to the 13th--we'll continue to accept backdated logs at any time, and there are no closing dates, as always.

Okay!

For Aphrodite, she's going to start working on designs for a "special commission." Truthfully, it's a bridal gown for herself. She figures she'll be needing one here sooner or later. On the 7th, she will be paying Odin a visit for his birthday, bringing him a card and a handsome drinking horn with aged mead. She will probably also be seeing Seth and Poseidon in there at some point as well. On the 12th, she is flying out to Chicago to surprise Hades for his birthday.

Ariadne will be working, mostly. However, on August 5th, she is flying into Lincoln, Nebraska for a weekend visit with Gawain. She returns to Washington the following Monday.

Asclepius continues to see Nimue whenever he can, since they're an official couple now. ^_^

Erato will actually be giving her two weeks' notice during the gloss and quitting her job at the coffee shop, since she'll be moving to the dorms shortly. Her free time will probably be spent getting things ready for college.

Sif continues to work at her bakery, but does get a visit from Tyr the weekend of July 22nd. She also will be sending a card and a homemade German chocolate cake to Odin for his birthday--he'll probably get them on Saturday the 6th.

She's also going to be "kidnapped" by Apollo on the 7th to be part of his birthday celebration.

Other than dodging Poseidon and taunting Apollo, Medusa has been working and trying to avoid oh everyone in the Greek pantheon.

Nimue has been walking around with the moon in her eyes, keeping in touch with Gawain and researching Avalon to find any sort of clues pertaining to it that might fit some location in America. It's a slow process.

Odin is keeping tabs on Tyr and Sif and thinking heavy thoughts on what he should do to try to find other Asgardians as well as Asgard itself. He's not used to thinking hard.

"Large Intoxicated Crowd Brings Massive Police Response

"More than 30 people were arrested Saturday night as a result of a party held in a field outside of Summitview. A Yakima Police Department spokesman stated that at its largest there were 200 people in the gathering, though unconfirmed reports from eyewitnesses have put the total at over 500.

"Most of the arrests were made for public intoxication and noise complaints, though police have confirmed that several arrests were also made for vandalism and public indecency. Police are also working with the Washington Department of Natural Resources to investigate eyewitness claims of cruelty to animals. Neither the police nor WDNR responded to phone calls regarding the investigation.

"Few details are available, but eyewitnesses report that the party was organized by a transient named 'Chaz;' his whereabouts are currently unknown, and the police are searching for him. He is reported to be approximately six feet tall and unshaven, with long brown hair; eyewitness reports uniformly describe him as badly-dressed. Anyone with information on the man's identity is encouraged to contact the Yakima Police Department."

Urania pretty much went back to her normal life, though anyone around her would notice that she's preoccupied with something. She started journaling her dreams and ordering books -- astroloy and greek history and mythology -- off the internet.

Gawain's routine pretty much returned to normal at the bookstore. However, he did enjoy a weekend visit from Ariadne starting on August 5. He also has kept in touch with Nimue concerning their mutual research into gateways to Avalon, as well as their unique partnership with select Greeks.

She's coming up empty at the moment and has suggested that without Arthur they may not be able to find it. She was pretty upset by that.

Does Nimue feel there is a chance she and Gawain could find Arthur or any of the other knights anytime soon?

Nimue says if she can talk her player into breaking down and picking up Lancelot like she's been threatening to then yes on the other knights.

Arthur...well we need someone to pick him up. ;)
