End of Event 2

There hasn't been any movement on the remaining scene in days so I'm calling a halt to the event. It isn't fair to keep everyone waiting, and I'm afraid that the community will stagnate if we wait any longer.

To sum up: Poseidon got 3 maenads, now nereids. Hades got 2. These are definite things that happened. What was supposed to happen was Achilles killing a maenad, releasing the spirit to escape. Vivien's fate is undecided.

What I want from you is to tell us what happened. Let's discuss the gloss. Who did what with whom and how did it turn out? This way we can move things along.

Sorry for my own delay, family issues come first. Poseidon has probably during this gloss period racked up his new nereids in a place of their own nearby, given them positions at his firm to keep them busy and meanwhile gloating in his captures. Medusa has probably been well rewarded for her assistance and earned her spot back to his side as a useful ally.

Chelsea has been at work I'm sure (Kim we can work this out more) helping Triton in gaining their father a troupe of followers. She has been however, more insecure with her relationship with her father and will make a call out to Hades on his further search for her mother and if he has found her.

Achilles I funk if we can wave it would have killed the maenad as was planned and currently a little sulky over his Muse being objected to such---situations.

Triton has been carrying out his father's orders, working to turn his teammates and fraternity brothers into an army for Poseidon--though they may not yet know exactly what their purpose is.

Asclepius would have taken Erato home with him to keep an eye on her as she recovered from the event. Most likely, he also attempted to get Nimue to assist him a little so Erato could have a female counselor of sorts to talk to and sort out what happened.

Apollo, after thoroughly reaming out Dionysus for allowing this to happen, is probably regularly hovering over his little Muse, and meanwhile trying to thank those who followed him to her rescue. Probably also doing what he can to remind Achilles that Erato was not at fault for the situation.

Erato is trying to put things back together after the event, recovering physically, mentally and emotionally. She very much wants to just get away from things for a little while, and will be going to visit her sisters Urania and Persephone soon for a little change of scenery and company over her fall break next weekend.

Ariadne is not on speaking terms with Dionysus right now, but otherwise is going back to business as usual, now that she's assured the maenad situation is under control.

Dite is sorting through her own recent events.

Sif is still playing house with Tyr in California, waiting for Odin's OK to return home.

Kali is just doin' what she's doin'--but has to admit the kids at U Dub throw on HELL of a party. ^_^

It would appear that Gawain's plan of turning the clock radio to full blast and shoving it in Dionysus' ear allowed the other gents to rescue Erato. Hooray!

After ensuring that Erato and the others were alright, Gawain probably remained in Washington State for a while. This allowed him to spend some time with Ariadne, as well as to discuss strategies with Arthur and Nimue.

When last we left the Arthurians, they were discussing an alleged manuscript that revealed the location of the Grail in North America. The rare book dealer Gawain surmised the manuscript, if it exists, likely resides in a private collection somewhere. Upon his return to Nebraska, and possibly at the insistence of his regal uncle, Gawain begins to pursue, um, other avenues of obtaining the manuscript.

That is where a certain Norse Trickster comes in. Stay tuned for further details!

Your PBM would like to know details about this book and the information within it. She isn't certain it will be that easy to get a hold of...there are/were plans for the Grail. ;)

At this point, your guess is as good as mine regarding the specific content. About all Gawain and I know is that (1) the manuscript is said to have been written by, or at least to contain contributions from, Emma Jung and (2) the Grail's location is thought to be somewhere in North America.

In other words, if there are existing plans for the Grail in the great PBM's mind, this Metem player is willing to be flexible. ;)

Things happen, it's okay. Hades will have joined in on the rescue of Erato. He promised Persephone he'd see her after things were settled, so he'll be heading for Cali. Figuring out what to do with the twins will likely be his immediate priority.
