Ooh, it's been a while since we had one of these! For those of you new to them, don't worry--it's all very simple.

The gloss period runs from May 1 - May 31, 2013.

Everyone is required to post what their characters have been up to during this time period. Feel free to be as general or as detailed as you like.

Of course, the event threads are still open, and you are encouraged to finish them. You are also welcome to backdate logs/conversations that take place during the gloss period if you wish. Feel free to use each other's post for plotting purposes!

APOLLO has mostly been taking care of his family, keeping in regular contact with his lovers, and making music. His next album, featuring his two favorite Muses, is due out in June. He's also been checking up on the western army of the Greeks, along with Erato, at Aphrodite's behest.

APHRODITE has had her hands full with her two children, running her fashion empire and keeping tabs on the movements of the godlings' known adversaries and the loyalty of her own forces.

ARIADNE continues to keep a low profile as she works on digital training modules and works with Athena and Astarte to strategize scenarios and assist with technical stealth attacks.

ASCLEPIUS has been busy at the teaching hospital, giving a speech at the spring commencement. He's also been in regular contact with Sigyn, as well as Apollo and his family.

BASTET has been her usual catty self, mostly involving herself with her work and keeping an eye on developments among the godlings.

ERATO, when not taking care of Alex, being around her family, recording with Apollo and talking daily with Bes, has been working on forged documents for Athena to hack into the systems of the FCF and other anti-godling measures.

ESTHER has been doing her level best to keep anti-godling legislation from getting into anything that could be voted on, killing it in committees and pressuring for filibusters. She doesn't yet have hard proof, but she suspects that Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Roger Warren has a hidden agenda up his sleeve that he intends to use against the godlings, and has been searching for evidence.

KALI remains sidelined, but is in new contract negotiations. She blows off steam with dance whenever she can, and does her best to keep in touch with her fellow Hindus.

OGMA continues to prepare for the birth of his fourth child, and is focused on raising his other three. He remains at the ready to offer whatever insight or help he can to his fellow Celts, and to the JCs, if he should be needed.

SIF has been very busy at her bakery with it being the season for Mother's Day, Father's Day, graduations and weddings, but she's also been a devoted mother and the social glue of the Norse, keeping in touch with and visiting the others whenever possible. She's even being cordial to Loki--at least until he tries anything funny with her or her family.

TRITON has been exceedingly busy in working out agreement proposals to present to international heads of state and businesses with primary interests in oceanic use, along with the help of Athena and Baldr. After grueling preparation, he feels he's just about ready to make his first official moves as king.

ADONIS - Near the end of his stay at L'Hotel de Jeu Ancien, Ben made a point of giving Aphrodite and Hephaestus open invitations for them and their friends and family to any of his resorts any time they wanted. A few days later, back in the real world, he again invited Aphrodite and hers out to visit for a weekend. The next week, he contacted Persephone and Hades to invite them to visit him at one of his resorts. When contacted by Apollo, he gave him and his family a similar invitation. When not entertaining, he's been working, travelling to a few of his company's different resorts over the past month.

ANUBIS - Mason has been concentrating on the end of the school year. He's been keeping in touch with his godling friends. He's been making plans for his summer, trying to line up a summer job for himself and a place to stay. He's been learning more about the godlings and has been developing some theories about his own abilities, which he plans to test once school's out in a couple weeks.

Sita's just been focusing on school. Exams are stressful, being a reincarnated queen doesn't mean that grades come easy, etc. She's also probably been hanging around with Hanuman off and on.

I'm 100% up for this. How would she react to him showing up on her doorstep with a few cupcakes and a couple bottles of green tea right after she finished her last final? (Honest, he's not a stalker. He just has fantastic timing when he puts his mind to it!)

BES has been focusing on his kids at school and the Club as the end of the year approaches while talking to Erato daily either through the phone, Skype, or long emails. He has sent her a random "thinking of you" bouquet, too, and has been secretly struggling with a very important piano piece. He has also been spending a lot of time researching his own pantheon and that of the others in addition to becoming the Preferred Babysitter for the next gens in NYC. Needless to say, he adores those kids to bits and pieces.

HANUMAN has been his usual self, bouncing off the walls and doing a little bit of everything. Since hitting his godhood, though, his energy levels are off the charts and his body bounces back from all but the most serious mishaps. He hasn't picked a major yet but he is seriously considering anthropology or sociology. He has spent as much time with Sita as she allows him and has been down to visit Anubis at least once. He regularly sends messages to Kali, rife with text speak.

Dionysus, along with Vivian, was unable to be found by anyone during the first week of May. However, a man closely matching his description showed up at the opening of an avant-garde performance art show in a derelict Seattle warehouse. He was removed from the venue by the police due to "disruptive behavior," but released with a warning.
(Curiously enough, on the morning after the incident, a gruesome discovery was made in Seattle-- three men who had been briefly questioned last fall for their possible involvement in a pipe bombing (http://asylums.insanejournal.com/metempsychosis/77367.html) were found dead in their homes. No details were released to the press, but unconfirmed rumors stated that all three of the deceased bore the same injuries and suffered the same missing appendages. A photo of one of the scenes, showing a wall with "Μην σαχλαμάρα μαζί μας" written on it in blood, would later disappear from the Seattle Police Department archives, never to be seen again. The deaths were officially ruled "accidental.")
For the rest of May, Dionysus has been tinkering with an odd and overdeveloped still in the basement of an artistic commune; what he's distilling in it, only he knows...possibly.
Since his return from the Hotel Jeu Ancien, he has been perfectly polite and decorous towards Melpomene, though he cannot quite keep his eyes from showing a certain amusement when he sees her and his brother together.

Roger Warren continues to push his anti-godling agenda. Rumor has it that he's also working on a secret weapons program to use against them, but there has been no hard evidence to support this.

Mimi Osmond and the FCF have been trying to reclaim their voice somewhat, as apparently the words coming out of the mouthpieces haven't been matching their literature. No one seems to know why.

Gaia is soothed... for now. Both of them are watching them closely. Unbeknownst to them, something else is stirring beyond the Veil.

Sigyn's been working, staying in touch with Ascelpius quite a bit as of late, and trying to figure out what the hell to do with the sudden appearance of Loki. A very persistent Loki, might I add.

Baldr has been working with Triton as of late, and it seems to be going rather well. He's also been spending as much time as he can with Hel. He's been contemplating moving to NOLA...

Hades has taken to advising Triton on how best to handle his new role as ruler of the seas while spending time with Persephone and Lilian.

Seth has been making stronger moves to unit the New York underworld into a secret, shadow-army whose underworld connections will allow for black-market support to the godling cause. In his spare time he'll be spending time with Astarte and Meri, the disappearance of Tara having made him more protective of the two.

Bres has been avoiding Mab since the hotel incident, angry over her sleeping with Apollo. Bres has confessed to his father of his secret origins. the older Maddox accepted his son for who he was and the pair have secretly worked to bring Maddox's resources to the godlings' disposal, creating secret manufacturing plants in order to arm the godling army. Also the pair have begun using their economic influence to cultivate allies in Washington.

Frigg has officially moved to California and now is renting a home in LA in order to be closer to the rest of her pantheon.

Goliath has been making inquiries about different mercenary and biker groups with grudges against the US government that'd be willing to fight for the godlings, for the right price, when the time comes.

Hephaestus is still getting used to things, but has begun to cultivate a friendship with Dite and is now a semi-frequent babysitter for the kids during the times he's in town.

Tyr is frequently acting as an instructor to the godling soldiers as well as getting Baldr into fighting shape. Feeling guilty for how he acted during Easter, Tyr has spent more time with his family, and working so that Tina and Carl can get to know one another better.
